Accurate Boss Extreme Reel

Accurate has taken the Boss reel Series to a new level of engineering, with new materials and designs that are lighter, more powerful and with new aesthetics, that make them stand out. Created with precise, powerful performance in mind, it has proven itself globally in a short period of time. The curved design of the frame and side plate allowed Accurate to design a reel that is incredibly light, but extremely strong.

Using the latest in manufacturing technology, Accurate is able to produce reels that are incredibly lightweight, yet strong enough to easily handle big fish. The Accurate Boss Extreme BX-400 and BX-500 Single-Speed, Lever Drag reel is the narrow version of the particular series and brings more capacity in a narrow spool that is perfect for jigging and bottom fishing. Anglers will love this style of reel, because with the taller frame, the line collects better onto the reel when jigging. It is also less work for the angler to guide the line onto the reel.

The BX-400XN and BX-500XN are constructed of aluminum and feature Accurate’s patented Twin Drag system that puts out 25+ Lbs of drag at max. At the same time Accurate did not compromise the stability, power and rigidity of the Boss Extreme. It has stainless steel gears that can handle big fish and will last a long time, stainless steel ball bearings, and a huge anti-reverse bearing for precision and performance. This bearing eliminates the chance of failure.

The Boss Extreme Jigging reel was designed with the Slow Pitch Jigging enthusiast in mind. Accurate added an optimized arm length and a round knob, for added comfort while jigging. The Boss Extreme feature an extended handle arm for more torque on hard fighting bottom fish, as well as a power handle for a secure grip and to reduce hand fatigue in deep waters.

There is a clicker on the side plate. The lever drag system is progressive with a single stop at strike and a button to push when you want to move towards full.
