Description
This long-sleeved protective t-shirt by Cressi, is made from special, stretchy material consisting of 92% nylon, 8% spandex.
The Cressi Rash Guard Lady offers excellent protection from the sun, wind and low temperatures either in the water or when dry. This long-sleeve rash guard helps protect the torso from equipment abrasion and delivers UPF 40 protection from harmful UV rays.
The Rash Guard can be used in all kinds of water sports. They are ideal for diving, snorkeling, surfing and other water sports. They are highly stretchable for comfort and durability.
The Ultraviolet Protection Factor rating system measures the UV protection provided by fabric. It is very similar to the SPF rating system used for sunscreens. A garment with a UPF of 50 only allows 1/50th of the UV radiation falling on the surface of the garment to pass through it. In other words, it blocks 49/50ths or 98% of the UV radiation.
