With conventional Assist Lines, the hook would move freely too much and get tangled with the leader, or the silicone skirt. To solve this problem, the core of the Owner PFP-04 incorporates fluorocarbon line, around which the Assist Line is built, leaving no gaps in between.
This method gives it just the right amount of stiffness, so it doesn’t get worn out easily, doesn’t get tangled and can work in harmony with the silicone skirt. The fluoro core also prevents the knot from loosening.
