Description

The DUEL 4 Strands Hardcore Super Cold braid has been developed based on the H.I.P. manufacturing method offering excellent abrasion resistance and a long life.

Izanas, is an ultra-strong polyethylene fiber, from the global brand Toyobo. Each thread is weaved using a micro-pitch, braided process and then applied special heat treatment to make each thread adhere to each other. As a result, the roundness is improved, offering firmness and resiliency that could not be achieved with conventional manufacturing methods. Abrasion resistance, which has always been a point of weakness, is now greatly improved.

Another important feature of the DUEL Hardcore Super Cold X4 Braid is its special coating, for improved water repellency and durability. The special coating, reduces water absorption and any water that comes in contact with the braid is drained quickly, drastically reducing problems such as the line sticking to the rod, or catching dirt. And also, it reduces friction as the braid passes through the guides, thus increasing casting distance and making the retrieve a lot easier.

High Water Repellency Making it easy for the braid to repel water, allows for stress-free handling. Drop a drop of water on the spooled line and check how well the drop of water is being repelled.

Durability Improved – The abrasion resistance is about three times higher than conventional products because of the H.I.P. manufacturing method and special coating.

Sensitivity Improved – When a load of 1kg is applied to 100m of line, the stretching of this braid is 44.4 cm, compared to 86.3cm for conventional products. The less stretch, helps the angler derive more action from his lures performance.

Less line-trouble during casting – The H.I.P. manufacturing method makes each thread adhere to each other, achieving proper firmness and resiliency, making it wind-resistant, less tangles with the guides and easy handling. It drastically reduces trouble when casting and handling lures and allows the angler to fish without stress.
