The VOLUME YET CONTROL concept behind the EAGLE
To achieve its unique characteristics, the team led by Dani Aeberli has developed the VOLUME YET CONTROL concept, which is based on:
A slightly longer and less curved outline, allowing for increased volume of up to 30 liters more compared to shorter, curved boards , without compromising control.
The extra volume provides a more comfortable, predictable and relaxed sailing position, especially in light wind conditions or when not yet on glide.
Key advantages of this design:
Ease of entry into glide: Its shape prevents the board from turning unnecessarily against the wind, achieving an almost automatic glide.
Stability in difficult conditions: The lower camber avoids bouncing in strong chop, a common problem on shorter and wider boards.
In addition, its maneuverable edge profile allows for a smooth and predictable jibe entry, as the thin edges require less pressure to initiate the turn. This makes it the ideal board for beginners in jibing, but also a great option for advanced windsurfers looking to improve their laydown jibes.
All in all, the EAGLE is not only a board for progression, but also offers dynamic and exciting riding. It feels like a longer version of the BLAST, as both share a similar rocker line.
