Ecogear Aqua Liquid UV

Description

The EcogearAqua Liquid UV is a colorless and odorless preservative solution, produced in Japan and designed to maintain the characteristics of the biodegradable artificial worms. It also prevents deterioration of baits such as the Power Isome, or Power Crab from lack of moisture and maintains freshness for longer periods.

Baits like the Marukyu Isome and Ecogear have a greater absorbency level than the PVC oil based lures and this explains why they rapidly dry out, when left exposed to air. This is why these baits are supplied in airtight sealed packets, which contain some of the impregnation liquid. In order to prevent decay of the lures it is important to ensure that they are kept in contact with the flavouring liquid when not on the hook.

The EcogearAqua Liquid UV is a special preservation liquid, with amino acid and attractant designed to also increase the attraction of the Ecogear Aqua series and keep it in its best condition. It also strengthens the UV properties of silicone and biodegradable baits, a characteristic that deems necessary in low light conditions.

Dried out baits will re-hydrate to some extent in these solutions but they dont seem to get back to their original supple and fully hydrated state.
