They function as a fishing rod strap, preventing the sections from coming in contact, creating scratches and wearing out. It can be used not only to tie the fishing rod together, but also to separate the sections of a fishing rod that have been jammed.
The Egg shaped rod holders are available in various colors, including fluorescent colors. Each has 5 holes, to insert the rods section, each of a different width: 4mm / 6mm / 8mm / 9mm / 10mm . So there is hole to fit any, mainstream rod.
