Description
The HTO Tempest Precision rod is an Ultra Light Rock Fishing rod, with a Max Casting Weight of 5 gr, fitted with a Tubular tip. This HTO Tempest rod provides the ultimate in lure control and increased feel as to whats happening at the end of your rig.
The tubular tip also helps increase its casting accuracy. The Tempest Precision is the ideal rod for Ultralight lure fishing, for Perch in the canal, or harbors and structures, hunting Rockfish and other minis. This rod can fish just about anything from jig heads, to small hard lures, or metals.
HTO has named each Tempest rod based on the type of fishing its suited for. Instead of using aimless length and weight s, HTO is giving you an idea of what each rod has been designed to do.
All rods are made from a high-volume 40-Ton Japanese carbon material, which helps keep the blanks light, but also offer ultra-strong and crisp action. The 40T Carbon, aids the rods recovery, making these the most accurate, distance casting tools HTO has ever produced, at this price level. HTO has further strengthened the blanks by using the X-Tec Mesh technology, adding a unique outer wrapping that protects the integrity of the blank, further enhances its performance and durability.
A wise man once said, to add speed, add lightness; to that end, HTO has looked at each rod and removed several elements to reduce their weight, as many rods have unnecessary whippings around the reel seats and butt caps. These are merely cosmetic, but add weight. HTO also believes that this minimalistic style looks cool, too.
All rods are built using Fuji Guides and Fuji Reel Seats.
