Another rod has been added to Lucky John’s popular line of Anira Spinning rods, this time for the Eging fishing style. Designed exclusively for squid fishing, the Egira has been studied, designed and built exclusively for the Mediterranean waters.
The Anira Egira is a highly technical rod, that can easily perform relaxing jerks, without lacking in sensitivity. This is achieved due to its blank, which is made with X-Wrap Cross technique, a carbon weaving technology that is usually found in more expensive rods. As a result, even the most subtle bites from hesitant squids is immediately noticed.
The short handle also facilitates an easy and relaxed handling of the lures and combined with the rods low weight, we can fish for many hours, without fatigue. It is equipped with «K» Type Stainless guides and a Fuji reel seat.
The size of the guides that Lucky John has selected for this particular rod, is really small, with a narrow diameter. This results in the line being very close to the rods blank, accurately transferring to the palm of your hand an amazing sensation from squids during fishing.
Its length is 2.52 m ideal for long casts, but also practical in handling. The Casting Weight of the rod has been designed for squids of size 2.5 3.5.
