Description

In early 2015, Okuma introduced the Azores reels, which immediately became a success in heavy-duty saltwater mechanisms. Since then the Azores series have undergone improvements and now comes in a new version, with an even stronger, more rigid body with total protection against corrosion.

The Okuma Azores XP Spinning Reel has been built around a rigid diecast aluminum body, side plate and rotor, so the weight has been kept to a minimum, while tolerance and durability have improved.

Okuma has equipped the Azores XP with cutting edge technological innovations, such as the 6HPB + 1RB corrosion resistant, stainless steel bearings, the multi-disc, carbon drag washers for DFD and corrosion-resistant, high density gearing. At the same time, they have preserved practical features that enable anglers handle tough battles with comfort and safety, such as the Heavy Duty Pick Up and the Heavy Duty Handle design.
