The Shimano FX is made of a strong XT30 carbon blank, with the addition of Fiberglass for extra rigidity. This is a good, all-round fishing rod with casting action that meets the needs of most Mediterranean anglers.

It matches perfectly with the respective FX reel.

It comes with a split butt, covered with EVA material.

The Shimano FX Spinning rod is made of XT-30 Carbon and Fiberglass, a naturally derived component delivering high rigidity, high compression strength and high tensile strength to rods. XT Carbon is used throughout the Shimano rod range. The number following the XT , denotes the quality of carbon fiber used. The higher the number, the stronger the carbon.
