Description
The Egi Leader Black Stream has fascinated Eging enthusiasts since its release in 2013, but the time has come to take this Fluorocarbon line to the next stage. And this is possible with the Plasma Rise Technology, which is a process that involves a lot more than simple coating and helps materials and maintain their initial performance.
«Plasma Rise Technology» chemically transforms the surface of the line, to be rubber-like. Fluorocarbon lines have low adhesive properties, so any coating agent, ends up coming off easily with time. However, «Plasma Rise Technology preserves the effect for much longer, as it creates a special polymeric layer, with elastic properties, which prevents the line from wearing out due to rubbing up against rough structures. This Special Polymeric Layer, created by Sunline, is excellent for shock absorption, abrasion resistance and improved knot strength. It prevents the line from wearing out, even when it is rubbed up against the rough rasp. The Sunline Egi Leader Black Stream Fluorocarbon allows the angler to cast around rocks edged structures with confidence.
Due to softness effect of the special polymeric layer, the line itself can be tightly knotted and bring the knots breaking limit, a lot higher, almost by 40%.
The softness of the new Fluorocarbon Sunline Egi Leader is also beneficial when connecting it to a PE line, as elastic polymer layer works to prevent the surface of the leader from slipping. This means that you tie a better knot and the knots strength improves significantly.
In order to absorb the massive, tensile power by fish, not only breaking strength, but also Endurance is required. In order to maximize the Endurance, Sunline has achieved the appropriate balance between Elongation and Strength, in the Egi Leader Black Stream Fluorocarbon. Endurance can be quantitatively shown by the physical property data of breaking energy.
The line color of the Sunline Egi Leader BS Fluorocarbon is camouflage Black, that is said to disappear in the sea. In the naked eye it looks more like Light Blue. It is not easily detected during the day even when fishing under strong sun light, as it reduces the reflection of sun light and also has a stealth effect. In fishing spots, frequently visited by anglers, the blacky color becomes a key weapon to break through a tough situation.
Sunline utilizes three different technologies for the production of the Egi Leader Black Stream Fluorocarbon:
Vivid Dyeing Process – Sunline’s unique dyeing technology for vividness, visibility and softness in one.
Non-Stress Spooling – Tension-free spooling maximizes the qualities of the line, because no stress is placed on the line, as it is being spooled. The line comes off ready to deliver superior stretch performance.
Plasma Rise The Plasma Rise Technology – continuous atmospheric pressure plasma treatment – chemically transforms the surface of the line, to be rubber-like, for much longer.
To make the distinction of sizes easy, a colored spool band is included.
