Tailwalk has developed the Slow Bump SSD rod series, that addresses the Slow Pitch Jerk fishing scene.

The Slow Bump rods have been designed exclusively for Slow Pitch Jigging and are Full Solid models.

The FSL models with full solid blanks, is a new development in the Slow Pitch scene and takes this fishing technique to a new level. The full solid blanks, which are made only of longitudinal fibers from the tip to the butt, equally distribute the load and produce a progressive bending curve, which resembles a perfect circle. This major feature enables the Tailwalk Slow Bump SSD rods to invite strikes that up tp now could not be achieved with tubular blanks. When jigging, the Slow Bump rods suppress any intensive and careless motion of the jig; instead it helps the jig reproduce a drifting action, which is a big advantage, when fish seem weary and dislike intensive action. Also, when battling prey, the blanks bend and create resistance, proportional to the load of the fish.

This trait also protects the rest of the gear during a tough battle, such as the braid from exceeding its breaking point, the Assist Hook from having its ring expand, etc. Thanks to the «bendable» blanks of these Tailwalk rods, you can concentrate on enjoying the fight with big fish.

The 633 / FSL is the most all-round model in the FSL series and one of the mainstream rods. From the very first winding motions of your reels handle, you can attract various target fish, by making your jig move in a natural way that imitates a weak bait fish. After the strike, you can enjoy a «bend and catch» fight that capitalizes on the advantages of the full solid blanks.

The 634 / FSL model is the best for targeting prey that will not go down easily and most probably put on a good fight. Using a jig of around 250g, this rod is ideal when aiming for targets with a fast swimming ability such as Tuna. Even if you find yourself in the pleasant position of fighting such a prey, the blank will bend firmly and allow you to calmly treat the fish. With the 634 rod you can reach the deeper end of the water column, in areas where a jig more than 300 gr is needed and still the rod will approach the target with the slow, supple action that only a full solid blank can accomplish.
