The Pole Spear fishing style, has numerous fans around the world.

The Pole Spear technique consists of a harpoon, which works with the release tension of a rubber band. The tension is applied by holding the rubber band around ones thumb and depends on the extent to which you stretch the band, while holding the pole. After you have identified your target, you pass the rubber band through the thumb and stretch it as far as you can towards the harpoon head. When you feel confident for the shot, you release the pole and hold the rubber to create some resistance to the fish.

Underwater fishing with the Pole Spear technique is aimed at non energetic fish such as Red Mullet, Scorpions, Octopuses and Lionfish. That doesn’t mean you can’t try shots at different types of fish if you get the chance.

The Tixi Dias 3 fishing harpoon is made of anodized, painted aluminum tube, in 3 sections, making it the travel version, making storage and transportation easy. It can be easily assembled and mounted with a 7mm threaded multiprong .
