Description
An 1.78 m short-length rod model, designed by Xesta, specifically for Short Pitch Slow Jigging.
The short jerks a Slow Jigging rod performs, are called Short Pitch jerks and have been established as an effective technique, when the fish are not biting. Because the Xesta Slow Emotion is short in length, it is easy to generate sudden drops and intentionally irregular actions that attract the interest of nearby predators.
The Xesta blanks are finished to fully adopt to various jigging techniques, such as bottom knocking for prey that are conscious of the depth, or Bluefish migrating around reefs, Rockfish in rough reef areas, etc.
The B5103 is the most versatile model, for using 150 300 gr jigs in natural and technical presentations in near-shore waters. The quick rod rebound and flexible blanks make it easy to use in any location, or situation. It is also recommended as the first rod for near the shore Slow Jigging.
Xesta has equipped the Emotion range with stainless steel frame, SIC-S rings, mounted with KW guides in the butt section and KT guides in the tip section. Depending on the rod, the grip design pursues ease of use by changing grip parts depending on the application.
Power classes 0 to 2 use a PLS reel seat with high palming performance, while power classes 3 to 4 use a T-DPS20 reel seat with high wrist freedom.
